Join The Movement

This is a membership based organisation – how well the organisation is run, how good the programme activities are, how much fun the girls have and how many opportunities are available to girls and leaders depends on the commitment of its members to attend relevant meetings, provide feedback and support the organisation in all its activities.

Membership brings rights, as well as responsibilities and obligations. To be members, girls, leaders and their school or community group must be registered and have paid their fees before starting a guiding programme.

To help ensure the running of the organisation it is important that all participating schools, communities, girls and leaders are registered by the last day of Term 1, each year.

Membership fees and registration forms can be found on this page. Membership registration forms can be downloaded and completed then emailed to join and registration fees deposited directly into the Girl Guides Account.

See the form for email and bank account details.

Membership certificate and activity record booklets have been developed for girls and can be bought for $2 by ordering through email, by calling 3300 980 or visiting the FGGA office at 17 Malcolm St, Suva.

A Leadership Certificate and Records booklet will be available for Leaders in term 2.

The Fiji Girl Guides Association website is the best source of information on current and past events and provides resources for use by members.

If you are not able to access the website for these resources we recommend you purchase the Leaders USB for $16. This contains information to help you understand and carry out your roles and responsibilities in both document and video format.

Leaders are recommended to join the Leaders’ Facebook page so that you are up-to-date on new events and can ask questions and get support from any leader in Fiji on guiding programmes and activities if you can’t find the answer on our website.

To become a member of the guide leader Facebook page, send us an email and request an invite or ask your Commissioner, Divisional Guide Leader or a colleague who is already a member to invite you to join.

There is also an open Facebook page for members and non-members – you can find this page by searching on Facebook or by clicking on the Facebook logo on our website.
